UpMonix Cookie Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This policy explains how upmonix.com uses cookies and similar technologies, and the choices you have. "We" means Think X Intelligent Systems LTD (company number 706889), [Registered office address: to be confirmed], which operates UpMonix.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your browser or device. Similar technologies, such as tracking pixels and tags, do a related job. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of them.
Your choices
When you first visit upmonix.com, we show a cookie banner. Only strictly necessary cookies are set until you make a choice. Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel do not load unless you agree. On the banner you can:
- Accept all to allow analytics and marketing cookies;
- Reject all to allow only strictly necessary cookies; or
- open Cookie settings to switch analytics and marketing on or off separately. Both are off until you switch them on.
We save your choice for 180 days, and then ask you again.
The cookies we use
Cookie durations are to be confirmed, and providers may change them. The durations below are those we observed on our site.
Strictly necessary (always on)
The website cannot work properly without these, so we do not ask for consent. The law allows this.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
PHPSESSID |
UpMonix | Keeps your session working as you move between pages, for example when you log in or fill in a form | 24 hours (to confirm) |
upmonix_consent |
UpMonix | Remembers your cookie choices so that we do not ask on every page | 180 days (to confirm) |
Analytics (only with your consent)
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google (Google Analytics 4) | Gives your browser a random ID so we can count visitors and see how people use our website | About 400 days (13 months) (to confirm) |
_ga_0464G68HRR |
Google (Google Analytics 4) | Keeps track of your visit (session) for our Google Analytics property | About 400 days (13 months) (to confirm) |
Marketing (only with your consent)
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au |
Google (Google Ads / Conversion Linker) | Measures whether a visit or sign-up came from one of our Google adverts | 90 days (to confirm) |
_fbp |
Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel) | Measures how well our Facebook and Instagram adverts work [and, if used, shows our adverts to people who have visited our site — confirm] | 90 days (to confirm) |
When marketing cookies are on, Google may also set or read cookies on its own domains, such as doubleclick.net, to measure our adverts. Google controls those cookies.
Google Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode, which tells Google's tags what you have agreed to. Until you accept, analytics and advertising storage are set to "denied", so Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies are not set. Google tags do not load at all until you accept; no signals are sent to Google before you choose.
Other services our pages use
Our pages load files from third-party services, such as cdn.jsdelivr.net and Google. Those services receive your IP address so that they can deliver the files. They do not set cookies on upmonix.com.
Why we're allowed to use cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies because the site needs them to work. We use analytics and marketing cookies only with your consent, as the ePrivacy Regulations (S.I. No. 336 of 2011) and the GDPR require. For UK visitors, the equivalent rules are in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR.
Google and Meta are based in the United States. Data collected through their cookies may be transferred there and processed there, protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. See our Privacy Notice for details.
Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, and it is as easy as giving it:
- Click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page, change the switches and save. You can also choose Reject all.
- When you withdraw consent, the analytics and marketing tools stop loading, and we remove the cookies our site set for them.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site, such as login, may stop working.
Withdrawing consent does not affect anything collected while your consent was in place.
